Visual Language

We are learning how to communicate a message through body language and receive a message through our eyes.
Room 5 joined us for our learning today. We read Anthony Browne's book called Silly Billy and made our own worry dolls.
We looked at how to view illustrations to infer the message and what to notice.
We analysed emoji and infered the meaning of them. We gave message through mime and got the class  to guess the emotion we were communicating. Wow! What a lot of learning we packed into one day.

Week 9 - Snapshot of our learning this week

We started off this week with a group of our top runners heading off to BOP Cross Country Champs. The rest of our Matariki Week was a hive of activity. Here's a selection of photos to enjoy.
The hnagi was a huge highlight.
