Camp 2016

What an awesome camp we had at Papamoa. Thanks to our wonderful parents who gave up their time so generously to come and help us. We will aim to have a sharing time in a few weeks to show you some movies, art work and written memories. In the mean time, get yourselves invited  onto the camp Facebook group set up by our camp parents and check out the photos and videos.

Open Day- Meet the Teacher

What a lovely day at school today! Thanks to all the families who came to visit. Remember you are all welcome to pop in and visit anytime. 

Students working on our class message about Belonging.

The task was 'How can we communicate  the message 'We Belong'in Room 3?'

We did some research about how artists, dancers and  singers communicate the message of belonging through words, symbols, movement and art. We also looked at our school crest. 

Students decided they could communicate 'Belonging' in lots of creative ways. Here's some photos of effective team work during the process.

Wednesday Afternoon Tweeting Sessions

We are making connections with other learners around NZ with kidsedchatnz.

Our first session was mind blowing! So much new learning and sharing.

Great to see the virtues of cooperation when working with our buddy class.

We love Harold and his helper Meradith. 

Our topic was body systems. How the parts of our body work together to make things happen.

Meradith told us so much information I hope it stays in our long term memory!
