Technology Challenge Week 4

The challenge this week focused on flight. Our learners had to design a paper plane that fitted each category:

  1. longest distance of flight
  2. tricky move
  3. smallest plane that flies at least 1 metre
We had such a good session researching, exploring designing and redesigning, making and trialling paper planes. There was a lot of deep thinking about wind resistance, streamlining and launching techniques. Learning is so much fun!

Key messages :

  • Wear your high viz vest
  • Keep away from the edge of the road

Ukulele

Nice to see some of the ukulele group practicing at lunchtime. I'm sure we'll have a recital at assembly soon. I can't wait to hear the Lava song!
