Book Circles

We are using Book Circles to talk about what we are learning in our reading this term. We have 'jobs' in our groups: discussion director, word master, connector, illustrator, summariser, and passage picker. By sharing ideas we get a better understanding of what we are reading.

Knitting Slippers

As the weather is getting colder, these two had a creative idea of teaching their classmates how to knit slippers. After a quick search on the Internet for a pattern and a lesson or two from YouTube this is what they created! A great example of using initiative!

ANZAC Art

Room 3 created beautiful pieces of art to help decorate the Reporoa Memorial Hall for the ANZAC Day ceremony. If you didn't get down to see it, here is a photo of our display. The pieces that didn't fit on are in our classroom.
